this was a pencil drawing based on the sculpture piece below. there is multiple references to city living and my personal experience tied within this. it's titled pittsburgh because that was the original painting title used to create the sculpture.

this was a design for a fictional tour of mine. the prompt was to make a poster based on an artist that doesn't exist and i took that in an existential way. this is one of my first few designs that really gave me a direction for my style.

this piece took 6-10 hours to create and it's only around 40 frames. the base of the video is from when i went free water swimming with a group of sharks in hawaii. i used two of the shark forms from that video to create this looping gif.

this took about 3 days to complete, i created this when i first broke up with my first love. it was a very dark time for me and it reflects within this work a lot. I threw it up here to show myself how far i've come since this feeling. there is a ton of personal meaning and symbolism hidden within this piece.

this multi-media piece was created based on a painting titled pittsburgh. I used a lot of my own personal items to create this piece including my cigarettes, my pants, rope i used for a costume, and matches from my favorite smoke shop in richmond, va. this work took about 3 hours to complete.

my final for ART132, this piece took over a month and is my favorite painting i have created. it opens and closes like a real coffin and took a lot of planning to put together. the body on the right panel symbolizes my fight with my appearance and the battling of eating disorders throughout the years. the center is a self portrait emulating what it feels like to have to fill societal standards as a woman in a relationship. seeing others be happy around you while you feel trapped yet you can't say anything.
